Wisdom teeth

The extraction of wisdom teeth is not essential and only required if issues arise. There are many reasons why wisdom teeth may need to be removed these include:  infection in the surrounding gum tissues, decay from an inability to clean adequately or lack of space to erupt fully.
There are different options for wisdom tooth removal; this can be done in the chair with local anesthetic, under sedation or under general anesthetic in a hospital setting.
Our team of dentists can take an OPG x-ray to assess your wisdom teeth and discuss the best option for you.
