This month we are excited to share that we are expanding our space into the suite next door and adding two new treatment rooms. The layout is the same as our existing space so we just need to fit it out.

October 2021 - Blanche is back – we are very pleased to have her back, she is currently doing Fridays only as Hamish settles into day care.
We are here for you, as we have been throughout the lockdown but now with fewer restrictions. We as a Team are all vaccinated and we are continuing to screen everyone to keep us all safe. We ask that if you are unwell at all or if you have had any risk of exposure to COVID-19 that you let our reception team know as early in advance as possible so we can keep everyone safe and reschedule your appointment. We all work closely together as a team and to fit everyone in during this busy pre-Christmas period we have put on extra days and appointments to allow those who have been shifted or not able to get in because of the lockdown. Even so, our books are quite full and so our reception will work with you to find an appointment - we ask that if it is not as soon as ideal to see your regular dentist that you might consider seeing one of our skilled team members who can see you earlier rather than putting off your appointment. It's a great time to check out the beauty of our local area.
We saw this guy on our walk the other day. We hope you're doing ok during this lockdown. Like the last lockdown, we are here for you. We are taking our usual precautions with COVID. We are asking anyone with any symptoms or concerns of possible exposure risk to reschedule their appointment and we're spacing appointments out. Current advice is also to reschedule non-essential treatment so we are in the process of calling anyone with upcoming appointments to discuss any implications for those appointments. We are aware others have essential or urgent treatment they might not have been able to have fit in. With the current changes it may also be appropriate to bring this forward - please call us to discuss. Our reception staff will check with you at booking and confirmation of your appointment. We continue to ensure our protocols adapt to the evolving advice of the governing health authorities and we'll keep communicating these changes as we receive them. Call us if you have any questions or concerns. 94871858 Stay safe At the end of the week it's nice to look back fondly on the week that was. We're lucky to have an amazing team and culture where we actually enjoy what we do and take great pride in providing the highest quality of care. We have Lester to thank for creating such a great work culture but it takes a team of amazing people to maintain it. In this short video Lester and Fiona talk about our work culture forty years and six months in respectively at WVD.
How often should I have my teeth professionally cleaned - a chat with our Hygienist Brooke.5/5/2021 15.03.2021 - We can't believe it is almost Easter!
This last year we have had lots of lovely little bubs join our WVD family. Kate, Neta and Sarah have had beautiful little bubs and today we had a lovely visit from Blanche and little Hamish - he is just gorgeous and mum is doing well. Thank you to Brooke who is doing Tuesday hygiene appointments whilst Blanche is away as well as her regular Friday hygiene appointments. Fiona Tam and Jin Kim joined us this last year and it is like they were always here. Amy is still recovering from multiple wrist and back surgeries - she is working towards normal days at her other practice and until she reaches that level won't be back to do her regular days with us. We're super proud of Amy for completing the Coastrek for the Fred Hollows Foundation and raising money to help others to see.
