Implants
Implants are an area of focus for our practice and we complete many hours of continuing education to stay at the forefront of this technique. We collectively place many implants each year and are involved in training post-graduate students in implants.
Implants are an excellent alternative to replace lost teeth and and failing teeth. Dental implants are titanium fixtures (bone screws) that replace the root portion of a missing tooth. They are usually completed in two stages, the first is placement of the implant, then after a healing period, the second stage is when the definitive crown is placed.
We keep specific appointments each week for these procedures. We have a 3D low dose X-ray machine in house that allows us to determine what the best option for you might be and to allow us to accurately plan our procedures - sometimes an implant may not be the best or only option and we will discuss each of these with you to figure out what will be best.
Both Lester and Josh teach on the University of Sydney Unversity Implant Diploma program as well as Charles Sturt and are Involved in assessing students in The Aesthetic Master's Program at Kings College London.
